Extract is a different category from plain leaf, not simply a stronger version of it. A gram of 50:1 extract is not comparable to a gram of kratom powder, and the most common mistake buyers make here is treating the two as interchangeable. It is sold in small sizes for exactly that reason.

Extract powder or extract capsules?

Loose powder gives you control over the amount and costs less per gram; 50:1 extract capsules give you a fixed, pre-filled amount and no taste. Most experienced buyers keep powder for themselves and stock capsules for the counter, because a pre-measured capsule is much harder for a first-time extract customer to get wrong.

Handling extract powder

Loose extract warrants more care in handling than loose leaf. Keep it sealed, cool and dry like any other powder, and keep it clearly labelled and stored well away from plain leaf so the two are never confused with one another.

The half-kilo and kilo sizes are repacker and retailer quantities rather than personal ones. If you are buying at that level, the same principle applies to your customers as to you: extract sold loose is easier to confuse with leaf, which is why most shops that carry both keep extract capsules on the counter and the loose powder behind it.

This is a leaf extract, not a 7-OH product

Two very different things get sold as “kratom extract”, so it is worth being explicit about which one this is. Ours is a conventional extract of Mitragyna speciosa leaf — the leaf is concentrated, and the alkaloid profile is the one the plant produces. Nothing is isolated out, spiked back in, or made in a lab.

The other kind is a 7-OH product: extracts, tablets and gummies built around isolated or semi-synthetic 7-hydroxymitragynine, at levels well beyond anything a kratom leaf contains. That is a different product in a different category, and it is not what we sell — not in this listing and not anywhere else on this site.

Is this 7-OH? No. It is a conventional extract of kratom leaf. We do not isolate 7-hydroxymitragynine, we do not add it, and we do not sell semi-synthetic kratom derivatives.

How do I tell a leaf extract from a 7-OH product? Read the front of the label. A 7-OH product names 7-hydroxymitragynine, usually with a milligram figure beside it. A leaf extract states a concentration ratio — 50:1 in our case — and lists kratom leaf as what is inside.
